Mammography Technologist Diploma Program

Program Overview

The Mammography Technologist Program at Stellar Career College helps registered radiographers advance their careers as certified mammographers. Through this program, students benefit from a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on clinical practice, which together build both technical and professional skills essential for entry-level mammography work. Moreover, students receive in-depth training in anatomy, mammography positioning, instrumentation, imaging principles, and quality assurance. Upon completion, students earn a Certificate of Completion and become eligible to take the ARRT Mammography Examination.

Admission Requirements for Mammography Technologist Program

  • Applicants must hold a valid Radiology/X-Ray, Nuclear Medicine, or Radiation Therapy license to apply. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to advancing their diagnostic imaging careers.

  3. Email admissions@stellarcollege.edu to request your Entrance Exam login
     (Include program in the subject line)
  4. Next, Submit Required Documents (see below)
  5. (Optional) Submit certifications (CPR, CNA, etc.)
  6. Complete Online Assessments
  7. Attend Interview with Admissions Panel
  8. After Approval, Review and sign required program documents
  9. Sign Enrollment Agreement electronically
  10. Finally, Receive Acceptance Letter and onboarding info

bachelor's degree or higher
