Program Overview
Stellar Career College’s Radiologic Technologist Program offers a comprehensive education in diagnostic imaging, focusing on x-ray technology, patient care, and radiation safety.
Students receive both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training in radiologic procedures, equipment operation, and clinical practices. The curriculum covers anatomy and physiology, image analysis, patient positioning, and quality-assurance techniques, with a clinical internship providing real-world experience in healthcare settings.
Graduates are prepared to meet ARRT certification requirements and pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, and diagnostic labs.
Program Objectives
The program equips students with the foundational knowledge and technical skills required to perform diagnostic imaging procedures safely and effectively — building an in-depth understanding of radiology system hardware, radiation safety, patient care, and image acquisition through both classroom instruction and clinical experience.
- Understand and operate radiology system hardware and imaging equipment
- Apply safety and radiation-protection measures for patients and staff
- Acquire and evaluate diagnostic images using appropriate radiologic techniques
- Perform imaging of the head, spine, thorax, abdomen, pelvis, and extremities
- Identify and apply tissue parameters that affect image quality and contrast
- Maintain radiology equipment and perform quality assurance and control
- Deliver effective patient care, including positioning, communication, and clinical interaction

High School / Associate Degree Applicants

- Attend the mandatory Program Orientation Session

- Submit required documents (see below)
- (Optional) Submit certifications (CPR, CNA, etc.)
- Complete online assessments
- Attend an interview with the Admissions Panel
- Review and sign required program documents
- Sign the Enrollment Agreement electronically
- Receive your Acceptance Letter and onboarding information
Pathway B
Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Applicants
- Submit the Online Application
- Attend the mandatory Program Orientation Session

- Transcript — minimum CGPA 2.0 required

- Letter of recommendation — from a supervisor or instructor
