Stellar Career College provides complete accommodation for students with disabilities.
Our goal is to ensure equal access to education for every student.
We comply with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act (1973) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA 1990).
Inclusive Facilities and Services
We offer a variety of support services for students with disabilities.
Our team ensures that each student receives the right assistance, adaptive tools, and access to facilities.
In addition, we encourage students to share their needs early so we can prepare personalized solutions.
Admission Policies for Candidates with Disabilities:
At Stellar Career College, we consider all applications fairly. Admission decisions depend on academic readiness and vocational qualifications, not on disability. Moreover, every student must meet the essential requirements of their chosen program.
Therefore, if you need students with disabilities accommodation, please contact the registrar early in your application process.
Definitions of Disabilities
Under the ADA Act, a disability is a physical or mental condition that limits one or more major life activities.
These include learning, walking, seeing, hearing, or working.
Additionally, students who require academic adjustments or auxiliary aids should follow the steps below.
How to Request Academic Adjustments or Auxiliary Aids
Students seeking disability accommodations should contact the Registrar’s Office.
Our staff will:
Review your request,
Discuss your academic needs, and
Create a personalized support plan.
Furthermore, this process helps us understand your goals and provide the right level of assistance. It also ensures a smooth academic journey from the first day of class.
Required Medical Documentation
You must submit recent medical documents (within 3 years) from a licensed healthcare provider.
The report should describe:
The disability type,
How it affects learning, and
Suggested aids or services.
Besides that, we may request more details if necessary.
All records remain confidential, unless required by law.
Application Review Process
Our admissions team reviews all students with disabilities accommodation requests carefully.
We evaluate your academic qualifications and medical reports to determine reasonable arrangements.
Reviews take 2–3 weeks after receiving all documents.
Consequently, to avoid delays, apply early and include complete information.
Note: We coordinate with off-campus facilities for training or externships.
However, external accommodations are not guaranteed as they depend on third parties.
Grievance & Appeal Procedures:
If you feel you were treated unfairly, you can:
Discuss the issue informally with your Disability Services Coordinator, or
Submit a formal written complaint with supporting details.
The coordinator will review and respond in writing within a reasonable time.
Afterward, you may appeal the decision within two weeks if you have new evidence.
As a result, if a violation is confirmed, Stellar Career College will provide corrective action.
Students may also contact the U.S. Department of Education’s Office of Civil Rights for further help.
Our Commitment to Inclusion
We are dedicated to creating an inclusive, accessible, and respectful learning environment. In fact, our mission is to empower students with disabilities through fair access to education and support services. Ultimately, we continuously advocate for equal treatment in every aspect of student life.
