WIOA Grant

The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) Grant offers vital financial assistance to individuals who are unemployed, laid off, or fall below the federal poverty line. This federal program aims to improve workforce readiness, reduce dependency, and empower youth, foster care members, veterans, and individuals with disabilities.

Furthermore, the WIOA Grant not only strengthens communities but also encourages long-term employment opportunities. Through this initiative, eligible students receive financial support for education and training programs that align with labor market demands. As a result, participants gain valuable skills that enhance job readiness and financial independence.

Stellar Career College Indiana is officially approved under the WIOA Act to deliver accredited and high-quality training programs. Local Workforce Innovation Boards have recognized our offerings as WIOA-eligible, ensuring our students are prepared for today’s most in-demand professions across Illinois and beyond.

  1. Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (DMS)
  2. Dialysis Technologist with Phlebotomy Technician
  3. Echocardiography/Noninvasive Cardiovascular
  4. Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist
  5. Medical Assisting with Phlebotomy Technician
  6. Radiologic Technologist Training Program

Each of these programs not only equips students with technical expertise but also fosters confidence and career advancement.

Military Students

We take pride in supporting military students, veterans, and their families. Stellar Career College provides flexible academic options — including online and hybrid classes — to ensure accessibility wherever duty calls.

Our military students enjoy:

  • The flexibility to study wherever the military takes you with online or hybrid classes.

  • A staff dedicated to helping military students and veterans start using their education benefits.

  • The ability to earn credit for military experience and training.

  • Scholarships and tuition assistance that cover up to 30% of tuition fees.

Our Financial Aid Services team works closely with military learners to help them maximize benefits, transfer credits, and apply for tuition programs such as:

  • Dependents’ Educational Assistance (Ch. 35) – Monthly educational benefits for dependents and survivors of veterans who are 100% disabled or who died of a service-connected cause or were POW or MIA.

  • John David Fry Scholarship (Post-9/11 GI Bill®) – Tuition, living stipend, and book allowance for children of those who died in line of duty after Sept. 10, 2001.
